Winter is finally here and I welcome it very much. I love to be in the outdoors and shoot in wintery conditions. Its challenging on many levels but also very rewarding.
A winter wedding or engagement shoot is always something extra. Especially this one, shot in St. Johan, Tyrolia, in the Austrian alps – not far from where I grew up.
So in a way it felt very personal to shoot this close to my former home. But the years abroad also opend up my eyes for something new – things I wouldnt have seen the same way if I still would be living there.
Enough said – I really enjoy this great area every time I get back. And so did Catherine and Jonathan, who celebratet their engagement there.
Lots of thanks also to Kajsa Reisenbauer from Weddings By Kajsa, for all the help with the planning and the great decorations with this winter engagement shoot in Austria. (She is a super talented wedding planer located right there in St. Johan and if you are planning on getting married in Austria you should really check her out)
